Welcome in the new year.
My focus for going into 2013 is redefining my comfort. When everything that brings your heart peace and rest at the end of the day is taken from you or changes, it is in that moment that you wish you wouldn't have relied on those things as much. It may be work, school, paychecks, the small town you have always called home. In a world where all of these things have a place I want to discover how large of a role they really need to play. In 2013 my husband and I will be leaving the town that I have always known, the job that developed my love for coffee and gave me a future in it, a school that gives you free supplies for creative adventures and free critique. The life that I have been accustomed to in 2012 is going to become a memory and my comfort will no longer be found in those things but instead- a husband who loves me and a God who is relentlessly after my heart. Not a bad place to find myself at the start of the year.
